Desert Center Gas Pumps

These photos were taken at the Family Cafe just off the road to Arizona. I love the look of the cafe and the still-standing gas pumps . The cafe has no locks on the door; they never close . I never miss a chance to take pictures when I am there. It is always the same, isolated and forlorn, yet still standing.

Google Ads

When I click on a link to ruthsackheim.wordpress.com from my Gmail account or from this blog, I see the most recent post plus a Google ad. When I access my Wordpress blog directly, however, there is no Google ad. Is there any way to get rid of the ads when people view my Wordpress blog by clicking on those links?

Snow

First measurable snow. Now I have to waterproof my boots. I'm already waiting for the snow to melt and for winter to end.

I finished a new oil pastel of the El tracks at a Chicago intersection. Now I have to get a camera battery charger or a new camera so I can photograph the piece.

I've lost count, but still counting!
